How Universities Can Participate

Likya Scholars is designed to complement existing global learning initiatives through a simple, low-lift partnership model. Universities may engage at whatever level feels appropriate—academic, advisory, or informational. No formal endorsement or administrative commitment is required.

Below are three optional ways institutions typically participate:

1. Academic Review (Optional)

We invite a faculty member from your institution—or any institution—to briefly review our academic framework and offer light guidance. This helps ensure:

  • the content aligns with higher-education expectations

  • learning outcomes are clear and rigorous

  • students feel confident in the academic integrity of the experience

This is not a credit-seeking arrangement and does not require formal approval or endorsement. It is simply a professional courtesy that strengthens the program’s educational foundation.

2. Student Information Sharing

If appropriate, your department or office may choose to:

  • Share the program with students who express interest in global learning

  • Include our PDF flyer or website link in advising materials

  • Post information on a bulletin board or internal page

  • Refer students who may be a good fit

This support is entirely optional and at your discretion.

Faculty & Staff Engagement

We are happy to provide short, tailored sessions for faculty, advisors, or students. These may include:

  • a 10–15 minute virtual overview of the program

  • a conversation with a study abroad or student life representative

  • an info session for interested students or specific departments

These conversations are informal and designed to:

  • answer academic, safety, or logistical questions

  • understand how the program aligns with your curriculum or advising goals

  • discuss any voluntary ways your department may wish to support interested students

There is no commitment required at any stage—your insight simply helps us better serve your students.
